Hello! My name is Kamar and I’m your new SAGE representative at the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. I’m a second-year Film major with a minor in Studio Art. I love video games, photography, and fashion. I grew up in Compton, CA. I’ve had some leadership experience with managing the marching band at my high school. It was a great opportunity to connect with the people and staff and also a fun job to do all around. 

Being up here at Humboldt has been a good change of pace from SoCal. I feel the same energy but the environment is different which is always welcome. I’m excited to work with everyone and really get to know and immerse myself in Arcata.
